NYC Strip Me Off Base Coat Review

Hello everyone! I just wanted to post a quick review of a new base coat that I have purchased. I bought this at the same time as the white polish by NYC, which I also reviewed, and it was under 2 dollars at Walmart.

So this base coat is a peel off base coat meaning that you don't need any cotton balls or nail polish remover to take off your mani! I love the idea of this and I’ve always wanted to try it. This base coat actually works pretty well. It takes longer to dry than an average clear coat, which is understandable, but it still dries quickly if you use a thin coat. As for peeling it off it came off really easily until I got to the glitter part of my nails. It was a bit tough to peel off the glitter, but I managed to do it and leave nothing behind. Another problem I found with this is that it didn’t spread evenly in some places which created some bubbles.

I’d say for the price that this base coat isn’t bad. It has a few flaws, but essentially it does what it is meant to do, especially when using a solid colored polish. I think the glitter is the only thing that caused trouble, but the one I used was quite old, so that may have affected it. I’d probably buy this polish again though. Miracle Gel “Greyfitti” Review

Hello everyone! Today I have a review for one of my newer polishes by Sally Hansen called “Greyfitti” (#260). So, keep reading to see what I think! The first thing I have to say is that this polish took 3 coats to get this opacity. That was a little bit annoying, but it didn’t take too long to dry and this color is very pretty. I guess if you needed a really transparent grey color for any type of nail design that this polish could be considered multifunctional. Also, this color reminds me of Candie’s “Concrete Jungle”, which I’ve done reviews on before, except it's a bit of a lighter shade of grey. I may like Candie’s a bit better… no offense to Sally Hansen lol. This polish is great and you know that I love Sally Hansen products, but I prefer the other one a bit more. L.A. Colors Color Last - First Impressions

Hey everybody! So I was walking around my local Walmart about 2 weeks ago and I came across a new display of nail polish for L.A. Colors Color Last nail polish. The polishes went for 2 dollars (I think anyway they were pretty cheap) and they claimed to last up to 10 days with the top coat. I decided I’d test that out because why not buy more nail polish that will inevitably dry out and be wasted, whatever. So that is what this blog post is for; I’ll be giving you my first impressions of both the actual polish and the top coat itself. The color I chose is called “Friendship” and it’s a neutral purple color with slight pink tones. It also has this weird glitter that you can only see when it’s wet or if you have eagle eyes. DIY: Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Hey everyone! So, like the basic white girl I am, I love pumpkin spiced lattes. However, buying them every day can really drain your bank account (or in this case my allowance hehe). Today I have decided to teach you how to make an easy, quick pumpkin spiced latte. Naturally, I found this recipe from Pinterest, but I tweaked it a bit. Here’s what you’ll need: ¾ cup milk (I used 2% because that’s what was in the fridge) 2 tsp. white granulated sugar 2 tbsp. pumpkin puree ¼ tsp. vanilla extract A palm full of pumpkin spice ½ cup hot coffee Whip cream (for an extra touch, but it’s optional) Start off with combining your milk, sugar, pumpkin, vanilla, and pumpkin spice.
