  Hello everyone! Happy Star Wars Day!!!!! WOOOOO! Ok, I’m getting a bit too excited lol. To celebrate Star Wars Day I decided to do a R2-D2 nail design. The polishes I used were NYC’s “French White Tip” (#134), Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri shades “Silver Sweep” (#230), “Co-Balt Blue” (#320), “Rapid Red” (#280), and “Black to Black” (#360). I also used painters tape, a skinny nail art brush and a nail dotter. I started with a white base (which took 3 coats with the polish I used). I then painted a little more than a third of my nail (the part by the cuticle) silver, using painters tap as my straight edge. Next I covered up the bottom portion of silver with a piece of painter’s tap and placed another piece a stripe's width away from the silver. I painted over my nail with navy blue leaving the bottom half of my nail white and then removed the painter’s tape (after 10 seconds). I also added a thin blue stripe for extra detail.
