A horrible event happened in Paris yesterday and it's truly devastating to hear. I can't even imagine being in that situation, but I know how scary that would be and how upsetting that would be to witness. My prayers go out to everyone there and to the families or friends that lost someone important in their life. I honestly cannot comprehend how someone could just bomb and shoot innocent people who had no warning and no way to defend themselves. I know that this sort of stuff happens in some countries even more frequently and that is just so awful. I'm not really sure what else to say besides that I hope everyone stays safe. I know I haven't posted in a while and I promised I would, but I might as well stop promising. I just wanted to show my support for those who had to go through such a tragedy. Hello everyone! I'm going to the beach in a couple days so I decided to do a beach inspired nail design. I attempted to do that marble effect where you use like hairspray or whatever, but I couldn't get it to work. If you have any tips for that let me know. The polishes I used for this design were NYC's "French White Tip" (#134), Sally Hansen's "Sand Storm" (#113), "Blue-Away" (#425), and "Snappy Sorbet" (#460", Triple Shine "Reef-Raf" (#210), and Blackheart Beauty's “Deep Sky Blue”. I also used a nail dotter, makeup sponge, and the Dries Instantly Top Coat by Sally Hansen. For the ombre I started with a white base coat and let that dry. Then using a makeup sponge I added a generous amount of my three colors and dabbed that on my nails. I always do that more than once for the right opacity. Hello everyone! Today I have a fun new design for you guys. It's received tons of compliments and I really like it a lot. This is my butterfly nail look, inspired by Pinterest. The polishes I used for this design were NYC's “Strip Me Off” Base Coat (#001) and “French White Tip” (#134), Sally Hansen's "Presto Pink" (#15) and "Brisk Blue" (#430), and Essie's "Licorice" (#720). I also used a nail dotter, makeup sponge, and a clear coat to finish it off. I started by applying my base coat which is a peel off so I can quickly remove the look when it's time for a new one. Then I did a typical ombre, which I have done many times before (you can refer to any of my other ombre looks if you want to know how to do that). Over the ombre I copied a butterfly wing design by painting a thick diagonal triangle by the tip of my nail, another black diagonal line towards the bottom of my nail, and connecting those with short, black lines. Hello everyone! If you live in America then tomorrow is an exciting day for you, full of celebration. With that celebration comes amazing fireworks. So, without further a do here are my Independence Day firework nails. The polishes I used were Sally Hansen's "Co-balt Blue" (#320), "Red My Lips" (#470), "Silver Sweep" (#230), and "Grape Shifter" (#423), NYC's "French White Tip" (#134), and Blackheart Beauty's "Deep Sky Blue". I also used a nail dotter to create the fireworks. I started by painting the base colors on my nails, alternating the colors on each finger, and letting that dry. I chose to do my fireworks on the navy blue nails, but you can do them on the red or even on all the nails if you choose. Hey everybody! I decided to do a simple dotticure that I found on Pinterest this week. I copied this design directly from this website so credit goes to this awesome nail artist (@ sonailicious). Since this is pretty self-explanatory I’m going to just tell you the colors I used and then give you a few updates.   The polishes I used for this design were Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri shades in “Sand Storm” (#113), “Brisk Blue” (#430), “Man-go Team!” (#30), and “Flashy Fuchsia” (#220), and NYC’s “French White Tip” (#134). Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I did my last fruit inspired nail design (which was strawberries if you want to check that out), so I decided I’d do another one. I found this idea on my Pinterest after scrolling down forever and it’s just perfect for spring/summer. The polishes I used for this design were Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri shades in “Lickety-Split Lime” (#450) and “Black to Black” (#360) and NYC’s “French White Tip” (#134). I also used a tiny nail dotter and my usual Base + Top Coat by Revlon.  I started with the lime green as my base color and let that dry. Then I blobbed on a white oval in the middle of my nail, using a bit more polish than I normally would. I used one side of my nail dotter to drag the white color out to look like the inside of a kiwi. Finally I added the black seeds around the white center and set my design with a top coat.   Hello everyone! Happy Star Wars Day!!!!! WOOOOO! Ok, I’m getting a bit too excited lol. To celebrate Star Wars Day I decided to do a R2-D2 nail design. The polishes I used were NYC’s “French White Tip” (#134), Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri shades “Silver Sweep” (#230), “Co-Balt Blue” (#320), “Rapid Red” (#280), and “Black to Black” (#360). I also used painters tape, a skinny nail art brush and a nail dotter. I started with a white base (which took 3 coats with the polish I used). I then painted a little more than a third of my nail (the part by the cuticle) silver, using painters tap as my straight edge. Next I covered up the bottom portion of silver with a piece of painter’s tap and placed another piece a stripe's width away from the silver. I painted over my nail with navy blue leaving the bottom half of my nail white and then removed the painter’s tape (after 10 seconds). I also added a thin blue stripe for extra detail. Hello everybody! My next nail art challenge was to do an ombre and since summer is getting closer I decided to do one inspired by a beautiful summer sunset. The polishes I used for this tutorial were Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri shades in “Man-go Team!” (#30) and “Lightening” (#280), NYC “French White Tip” (#134), and Sinful Colors “Hazard” (#952). You will also need a makeup sponge and Elmer’s all-purpose glue. To start your ombre you will first need to apply a white base coat to all of your nails and let that dry. To protect the skin around the nail I applied Elmer’s glue, which I put in an empty nail polish bottle, for an easy clean up afterwards. For the ombre itself I painted the three colors side by side on my clean makeup sponge and patted that all over my nails. I did this twice for each nail, but depending on how opaque you want it you can do it more or less. Once that is dry you can pull off the glue around your nails and you should be left with clean skin! Add a topco...

Hello everyone! Sorry this post is a bit later than usual, but my next post isn’t until Monday and I felt bad for making you wait that long. So, I have decided to put up a review for a new polish that I recently bought. I really needed   new one because tbh I don’t like the Sally Hansen one I’m using right now. I know I use it a lot, but that’s only because I don’t have any other ones and I always forget to buy a new one. The Xtreme Wear one that I use just dries up too quickly and gets all thick and gooey. Anyway, when I was visiting our new Walmart I saw this polish and decided to try it out. The polish I picked up is by NYC (New York Color) in the shade “French White Tip” (#134). The reason I chose this polish is because it was so cheap! The bottle was only 99 cents for 0.45oz so I thought why not just try it out.
