Reindeer Nails

Hello everyone! My 5th Christmas nail design, if you couldn’t tell by the title, is reindeer! I really like this design; it’s one of my favorites along with the Christmas trees. Here’s what you’ll need.

The polishes I used for this design were Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel shade in “Game of Chromes” (#510), Xtreme Wear shades in “Black Out” (#28) and “White On” (#300), Insta-Dri shade in “Wined Up” (#350), and Essie’s “Mink Muffs” (#624). You will also need a nail dotter.

I started with a gold base coat and the top coat that goes along with the Miracle Gel polishes. After that dried, I used the medium brown color to make a semi-circle covering 1/3 of my nail with 2 ear shapes at the top. Using the same brown I drew antlers. Since the brush that comes with Essie polishes isn’t too thick I can use that brush for the antlers; no extra brushes needed. Next, using a dotter, I added two white dots for eyes and two smaller black dots for pupils. To complete the look, I added a large nose to each reindeer’s face. I made all the noses black except for one (their can only be one Rudolph).

I hope you liked this design. There’s only 3 left before Christmas and then I’ll probably do solid colors for a bit lol. Also, make sure you’re checking my YouTube channel and Instagram. BYYEEE

Miracle Gel “Greyfitti” Review

Hello everyone! Today I have a review for one of my newer polishes by Sally Hansen called “Greyfitti” (#260). So, keep reading to see what I think!  The first thing I have to say is that this polish took 3 coats to get this opacity. That was a little bit annoying, but it didn’t take too long to dry and this color is very pretty. I guess if you needed a really transparent grey color for any type of nail design that this polish could be considered multifunctional.  Also, this color reminds me of Candie’s “Concrete Jungle”, which I’ve done reviews on before, except it's a bit of a lighter shade of grey. I may like Candie’s a bit better… no offense to Sally Hansen lol. This polish is great and you know that I love Sally Hansen products, but I prefer the other one a bit more. Overall, I’d say that this polish deserves 4 out of 5 stars. I like the color and it dries quickly. So far it has lasted with no chips (even though I haven’t had it on for that long so I’...

L.A. Colors Color Last - First Impressions

Hey everybody! So I was walking around my local Walmart about 2 weeks ago and I came across a new display of nail polish for L.A. Colors Color Last nail polish. The polishes went for 2 dollars (I think anyway they were pretty cheap) and they claimed to last up to 10 days with the top coat. I decided I’d test that out because why not buy more nail polish that will inevitably dry out and be wasted, whatever. So that is what this blog post is for; I’ll be giving you my first impressions of both the actual polish and the top coat itself.  The color I chose is called “Friendship” and it’s a neutral purple color with slight pink tones. It also has this weird glitter that you can only see when it’s wet or if you have eagle eyes. Anyway, it is a nice color (I used 2 coats) but I had a few problems with application. This particular polish did NOT go on smoothly at all and it looked really rough on its own. I contemplated testing the polish without the top coat on one hand for a ...

DIY: Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Hey everyone! So, like the basic white girl I am, I love pumpkin spiced lattes. However, buying them every day can really drain your bank account (or in this case my allowance hehe). Today I have decided to teach you how to make an easy, quick pumpkin spiced latte. Naturally, I found this recipe from Pinterest, but I tweaked it a bit. Here’s what you’ll need: ¾ cup milk (I used 2% because that’s what was in the fridge) 2 tsp. white granulated sugar 2 tbsp. pumpkin puree ¼ tsp. vanilla extract A palm full of pumpkin spice ½ cup hot coffee Whip cream (for an extra touch, but it’s optional) Start off with combining your milk, sugar, pumpkin, vanilla, and pumpkin spice. You’ll want to blend this mixture until it is frothy. I used a hand mixer, but you can use a blender if you want. Next, you want to heat up the pumpkin mixture you just made. The original recipe said to heat it in a sauce pan, which I did the first time, but I was too lazy this time an...
