Candy Cane Nails

Hey everyone! This is my second time doing candy cane nails for the holiday season. This time I decided to do it on alternating nails because 1.) I had to do this mid school week and 2.) It makes the design pop. Anyway, here’s what you need.

The colors I used were Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri shade in “Wined Up” (#350), Xtreme Wear shade in “White On” (#300), and Revlon’s “Stunning” (#340). You will also need tape (preferably painter’s tape) and scissors. 

I started with a white base on the nails I was doing the stripes on and waited for it to dry. Then I applied three strips of tape horizontally on my nail. You may need more or less depending on how big your nail is or how thick you want the stripes to be. Next, I applied the red overtop of the tape, waited 10 seconds, and removed the tape carefully. I fixed any mistakes with a dotter and then applied a glitter coat over top. The nails with no stripes were plain red. Simple as that!

Hello everyone! If you live in America then tomorrow is an exciting day for you, full of celebration. With that celebration comes amazing fireworks. So, without further a do here are my Independence Day firework nails. The polishes I used were Sally Hansen's "Co-balt Blue" (#320), "Red My Lips" (#470), "Silver Sweep" (#230), and "Grape Shifter" (#423), NYC's "French White Tip" (#134), and Blackheart Beauty's "Deep Sky Blue". Green + Gold Accent Nail

Hello everyone! I wanted to do one more simple St. Patrick’s day nail design before I did the complex stuff. This is super easy and will last a while. Here’s what you’ll need. The polishes I used were Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri shade “In Record Lime” (#50), Essie’s “Good As Gold” (#941), and my new Base + Top Coat by Revlon (#965). I also used gold glitter from SHANY's Nail Art Decoration Kit. First, I used one layer of the Revlon’s Base + Top coat to protect my nail. I am hoping that this will prevent any more staining that way my nails can grow out and be stain free before prom. Anyway, I painted all my nails, except the ring finger, with my green polish and sealed that off with a top coat. For my ring finger nail I painted two coats of my gold polish and let that dry (this is here just in case the glitter doesn’t reach all areas of the nail). Miracle Gel "Game of Chromes" Review

Hello everyone! I recently purchased another nail polish from Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel collection called “Game of Chromes” (#510) and I thought I’d write a review for it today. Frist of all, the name is genius. Secondly, lol, the color is gorgeous. It is really shiny and when you move your fingers under the light it kind of looks like it switches between silver and gold, like a hologram or something. It is just a really nice color if you are looking for a solid nail design that isn't super boring. I also really liked the formula of the polish. It went on very smoothly (just like the others from the line did) and it was opaque with one coat. When I used the top coat (which you have to buy separately unless you get a kit and it’s expensive but whatever), it lasted a long time with no chips.
