Christmas Present Nails

Hello everyone! Sorry this is up so late, but I got so into wrapping presents that I completely forgot. I was also out at Kroger for a while because it’s recently been remodeled and now there is a bunch of organic stuff. Anyway, I’m getting off topic; here is what you will need for this design.

The polishes I used were Essie's “Good as Gold” (#941) and Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri shades in “Wined Up” (#350), “Jet Set Jade” (#180), and “Silver Sweep” (#230). You may also need a skinny nail art brush.

I started with a gold base and let that dry. On each nail I alternated between red and green “ribbon”, which is just a vertical line down the nail and a horizontal one across the nail. For the bow, I used the silver polish and my skinny nail art brush to draw a bow shape. Add a clear coat and you’re done!

I hope you like this design. I used all metallic colors, which was a complete accident, but quite festive anyway. I have to edit a video, but I don’t know if I’ll get it up tomorrow or not. You know the drill though; if I upload it I’ll stick it here. BYYEEE

Miracle Gel “Greyfitti” Review

Hello everyone! Today I have a review for one of my newer polishes by Sally Hansen called “Greyfitti” (#260). So, keep reading to see what I think! The first thing I have to say is that this polish took 3 coats to get this opacity. That was a little bit annoying, but it didn’t take too long to dry and this color is very pretty. I guess if you needed a really transparent grey color for any type of nail design that this polish could be considered multifunctional. Also, this color reminds me of Candie’s “Concrete Jungle”, which I’ve done reviews on before, except it's a bit of a lighter shade of grey. I may like Candie’s a bit better… no offense to Sally Hansen lol. This polish is great and you know that I love Sally Hansen products, but I prefer the other one a bit more. DIY: Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Hey everyone! So, like the basic white girl I am, I love pumpkin spiced lattes. However, buying them every day can really drain your bank account (or in this case my allowance hehe). Today I have decided to teach you how to make an easy, quick pumpkin spiced latte. Naturally, I found this recipe from Pinterest, but I tweaked it a bit. Here’s what you’ll need: ¾ cup milk (I used 2% because that’s what was in the fridge) 2 tsp. white granulated sugar 2 tbsp. pumpkin puree ¼ tsp. vanilla extract A palm full of pumpkin spice ½ cup hot coffee Whip cream (for an extra touch, but it’s optional) Start off with combining your milk, sugar, pumpkin, vanilla, and pumpkin spice. L.A. Colors Color Last - First Impressions

Hey everybody! So I was walking around my local Walmart about 2 weeks ago and I came across a new display of nail polish for L.A. Colors Color Last nail polish. The polishes went for 2 dollars (I think anyway they were pretty cheap) and they claimed to last up to 10 days with the top coat. I decided I’d test that out because why not buy more nail polish that will inevitably dry out and be wasted, whatever. So that is what this blog post is for; I’ll be giving you my first impressions of both the actual polish and the top coat itself. The color I chose is called “Friendship” and it’s a neutral purple color with slight pink tones. It also has this weird glitter that you can only see when it’s wet or if you have eagle eyes. Anyway, it is a nice color (I used 2 coats) but I had a few problems with application. This particular polish did NOT go on smoothly at all and it looked really rough on its own.
