Gold At The End Of The Rainbow

Hello everyone! This is my final St. Patrick’s Day design and it is the most complex out of all of them. I wouldn’t say it is hard (because it’s not), but there’s a lot more to do.  I tried to replicate this look from a picture I saw on Pinterest; hopefully I did it justice. Here’s what I used.

The colors I used where Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri shades in “Jet Set Jade” (#180), “Black to Black” (#360), “Rapid Red” (#280), “Man-go Team!” (#30), “Lightening” (#250), “Lickety-Split Lime” (#450), “Brisk Blue” (#430), “Vigorous Violet” (#365), and Essie’s “Good as Gold” (#941). I also used gold balls from SHANY's Nail Art Decoration Kit, a skinny nail art brush, and a nail dotter.

I started with my dark green as the base color for all my nails. Then, on my ring finger nail I painted a pot (that a leprechaun would put gold in) in black. Using a small nail art brush I then painted a rainbow going across three of my nails (index, middle, and ring fingers). I dotted on gold coming out of the pot that way if there were in spaces showing after I finished my design (which there were) it would be less noticeable. After everything was dry I added the gold in the pot, securing it with a clear coat underneath. Add a top coat over the whole design and it’s complete!

I hope you all enjoyed my St. Patrick’s Day designs. If you want to see a video tutorial of this design you may click here to watch it. I have some cool stuff planned all the way through the month of April. I’m excited so I hope you are too. See you Wednesday! BYYEEE

Firework Nails

Hello everyone! If you live in America then tomorrow is an exciting day for you, full of celebration. With that celebration comes amazing fireworks. So, without further a do here are my Independence Day firework nails. The polishes I used were Sally Hansen's "Co-balt Blue" (#320), "Red My Lips" (#470), "Silver Sweep" (#230), and "Grape Shifter" (#423), NYC's "French White Tip" (#134), and Blackheart Beauty's "Deep Sky Blue". I also used a nail dotter to create the fireworks. I started by painting the base colors on my nails, alternating the colors on each finger, and letting that dry. I chose to do my fireworks on the navy blue nails, but you can do them on the red or even on all the nails if you choose. For the fireworks I started with a dot for the center of the firework and added a red star there. Remember, the center of the firework does not have to be in the center of the nail (I only did that on one nai...

Suncoat Natural Nail Polish Remover First Impression

Hello everyone! Today I have a review for Suncoat’s Natural Nail Polish Remover. My mom recently purchased this online at Amazon, which at the moment is $5.68 for 60ml. It is a corn and soya based nail polish remover with only 4 ingredients, which is significantly healthier than regular polish remover. It comes in either a 30ml or 60ml glass bottle (1oz or 2oz) which is better than plastic because the chemicals in plastic bottles will soak into the remover as well, and that’s bad for you. The directions say to put it on your nails with a Q tip or cotton ball, let soak, and rub off until the polish is removed; basically, it works just like normal removers. I had my mom test it on the 4 th of July nail design and the new glitter polish I got (I test my designs on her first ok) and she gave me a review. She said that it was very very oily, but it is oil so that’s what you’d expect. It took longer to remove than what it would for normal polish remover, but it worked just as well....

Miracle Gel Swatches

Hey guys! I know this post is late, but now that school has started back up all I ever do is homework. It's ridiculous I don't do anything anymore (not that I ever did lol). Anyway enough excuses. I did these swatches forever ago, like October of last year, so my memory of these colors are a distant memory. However, I didn't have a post planned so I thought I would show you these. The deep red color is "Wine Stock" (#480). I really like this color and it would be a great holiday nail color. However, because I love red nail polish, especially deep red, I will wear this whenever I want. As every other Miracle Gel polish I own, this is a great polish. I believe this was only one coat as well which is super cool. The other color is "All Chalked Up" (#230) and it is a pastel purple color. This color is very light-hearted and cute looking which I appreciate when it is dreary outside and I get sad. This is also a great Easter color (apparently I l...
