Bees?

Hey everyone! If you didn't know, bees are actually pretty amazing and instead of running in fear we should praise bees in every possible way. I decided that since you see bees a lot in the summer that they would bee (hehe) the perfect inspiration for a nail design. The polishes I used for this design were Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri shade "Lightening" (#280), Xtreme Wear shade "Black Out" (#28), and NYC's "French White Tip" (#134). I also used a small nail dotter. I started with yellow as my base coat and let that dry. The polish I used was really old and I'm in need of a new yellow, so if you have any suggestions, brnd wise, let me know. Anyway, on my ring finger I dotted on a generic bee shape using my black polish. Beehind (haha I'm so good)(jk) the bee I added a dotted line to represent to trail that cartoons bees seem to leave behind them. To highlight that I used my white polish and added white dots overlapping the black. Add

Rainbow Ombre

Today marks an important day in history for the US. As of today same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states! I'm so proud of our country for making this huge step towards equality and everyone has been so positive. In celebration and support of this movement I decided to do a rainbow ombre to represent the LGBT+ flag. The polishes I used were Sally Hansen's "Red My Lips" (#470), "Taheati" (#620), "Lightening" (#250), "Green With Envy" (#02), "Blue Me Away!" (#04), and "Vigorous Violet" (#365) along with NYC's "French White Tip" (#134) and Revlon's Base + Top Coat (#965). To make the ombre you will need a make-up sponge. I did my ombre vertical starting with the red and orange, moving onto orange and yellow, etc. until all my nails were covered. Like the standard ombre you paint a white base coat on your nails and let that dry. Then just paint your two colors next to each other on the sponge and

Matte Black Nails

Hello everyone!! Just a quick update for my nails right now. I just have a simple matte black mani which only required Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri polish "Black To Black" (#360) and Sally Hansen's big matte top coat. Today has been a filming and editing day for me. I have one video going up about graduation (which will be here when it is done uploading) and I filmed a clothing haul which will be up... sometime. Sorry for the short post. BYYEEE Oh P.S. I updated my Nail Polish Inventory. There are two new polishes there. That's all.

Sideways French Manicure

Hello everyone!! Tomorrow I am officially graduating high school!! It is a known fact that for graduation you have to dress up nicely (and then immediately cover that up by your gown) and I found a really nice dress during a Mother’s Day sale at JC Penny’s that I thought would be perfect for the occasion. Inserting the photo…. NOW!  I needed a matching manicure so I decided to do a simple sideways French manicure using a couple colors that were in the dress.  The polishes I used were Sally Hansen’s Insta-Dri shades in “Co-Balt Blue” (#320) and “Brisk Blue” (#430). I used my usual Base + Top Coat by Revlon (#965) and for the manicure effect I used PERFECT tips by Nailene.  This is a pretty simple design. I started with the darker blue as my base color (it’s an old polish I really need a new one) and let that dry. Next I put the stickers close to the side of my nail leaving space for the color to show and painted on my light blue. I usually wait 10 seconds before I peel o
