Leopard Nails


Hello everyone! I decided to use some of my new polishes to create a leopard design, which I have wanted to try for a long time. Since most of the newer polishes I received are neutral browns/golds I thought it would be the perfect opportunity. Here’s what you’ll need.

The polishes I used were the Orly shades “Buried Treasure” (#20181) and “Sea Gurl” (#20748), and Finger Paint shades “You’re Kiln Me” (#806504) and “Abstract Attraction” (#806862). I also used Sally Hansen’s No Chip Top Coat and a gold stud from SHANY's Nail Art Decoration Kit.

I started with my gold base, which required two coats. Next, I used “Sea Gurl” to dot on a few… blobs, they’re just blobs lol, onto my nail. Basically, it just looks like a leopard spots (that’s the point). Next, I used my darker brown color to outline the blobs and define the spots; I added a bit of glitter to bring them out even more. Finally, I put a dab of clear polish on my ring finger and added a gold stud (completely optional). Add a top coat over everything and it’s done!

I hope you all like this design. I think it turned out pretty well and you can totally change up the colors if you want or just keep it simple. It just sucks that no one got to see them because the snow hit us HARD. We missed a whole week of school, which I simultaneously love and hate. Miracle Gel “Greyfitti” Review

  Hello everyone! Today I have a review for one of my newer polishes by Sally Hansen called “Greyfitti” (#260). So, keep reading to see what I think!  The first thing I have to say is that this polish took 3 coats to get this opacity. That was a little bit annoying, but it didn’t take too long to dry and this color is very pretty. I guess if you needed a really transparent grey color for any type of nail design that this polish could be considered multifunctional.  Also, this color reminds me of Candie’s “Concrete Jungle”, which I’ve done reviews on before, except it's a bit of a lighter shade of grey. I may like Candie’s a bit better… no offense to Sally Hansen lol. This polish is great and you know that I love Sally Hansen products, but I prefer the other one a bit more. L.A. Colors Color Last - First Impressions

Hey everybody! So I was walking around my local Walmart about 2 weeks ago and I came across a new display of nail polish for L.A. Colors Color Last nail polish. The polishes went for 2 dollars (I think anyway they were pretty cheap) and they claimed to last up to 10 days with the top coat. I decided I’d test that out because why not buy more nail polish that will inevitably dry out and be wasted, whatever. So that is what this blog post is for; I’ll be giving you my first impressions of both the actual polish and the top coat itself.  The color I chose is called “Friendship” and it’s a neutral purple color with slight pink tones. It also has this weird glitter that you can only see when it’s wet or if you have eagle eyes. Anyway, it is a nice color (I used 2 coats) but I had a few problems with application. Suncoat Natural Nail Polish Remover First Impression

Hello everyone! Today I have a review for Suncoat’s Natural Nail Polish Remover. My mom recently purchased this online at Amazon, which at the moment is $5.68 for 60ml. It is a corn and soya based nail polish remover with only 4 ingredients, which is significantly healthier than regular polish remover. It comes in either a 30ml or 60ml glass bottle (1oz or 2oz) which is better than plastic because the chemicals in plastic bottles will soak into the remover as well, and that’s bad for you. The directions say to put it on your nails with a Q tip or cotton ball, let soak, and rub off until the polish is removed; basically, it works just like normal removers. I had my mom test it on the 4 th of July nail design and the new glitter polish I got (I test my designs on her first ok) and she gave me a review. She said that it was very very oily, but it is oil so that’s what you’d expect. It took longer to remove than what it would for normal polish remover, but it worked just as well....
