My Candle Collection

Hello everyone! So, you may not know this about me, but I have a huge obsession with candles. I have bought a lot of candles throughout this year and I just wanted to show them to you. If you find candles at all exciting here they are.
First of all, I keep all the candles that I am not using for the season in this box. I got this box for Christmas (obviously lol) last year, I think, and it had a lot of goodies in it before I emptied it out. Honestly, I think I need a bigger box because I buy so many candles on a regular basis now.
Every time I go to the store during the holidays or season changes, they will have huge boxes in the aisles with seasonal, mini candles, and without fail I buy at least two lol. The scents from left to right are sweet pea, cranberry pear, hazelnut cream, apple pumpkin, cinnamon pecan swirl, creamy vanilla swirl, and fresh melon slice.
The bigger candles that I have are key lime pie, soothing vanilla, and mandarin vanilla. I haven’t used the mandarin vanilla one yet because I’m waiting for spring time, but the other two candles I absolutely love.
The two candles that I have been using the most this month were the soothing vanilla and apple pumpkin. They are more fall-like and they just smell great. I especially love the vanilla one because it’s one of my favorite scents.
My last for candles are pretty random. From left to right the scents are cinnamon roll, rose (it looked like a rose too before I used it lol), coconut macaroon, and… I actually don’t know what the last one’s scent is lol.
My favorite candle has to be the cinnamon roll one which I got from crackle barrel for around $10. As you can see I have never actually lit it because I don’t want it to lose its look, but I can smell it really well throughout my room without even lighting it.
The candle that I don’t know the scent for is from Hobby Lobby and I also picked up a decorative bird cage candle holder to put it in. I mainly use this candle for looks and I have it set on my bedside table. The one time I did decide to light it I got candle wax all over my table lol; I’ll never do that again.

I hope you guys enjoyed my candle collection! The majority of them are from stores like Walmart or Kroger, so you can easily find them if you want to give them a try. I have a simple nail look for Sunday’s blog post, but until then BYYEEE.

Miracle Gel “Greyfitti” Review

Hello everyone! Today I have a review for one of my newer polishes by Sally Hansen called “Greyfitti” (#260). So, keep reading to see what I think!  The first thing I have to say is that this polish took 3 coats to get this opacity. That was a little bit annoying, but it didn’t take too long to dry and this color is very pretty. I guess if you needed a really transparent grey color for any type of nail design that this polish could be considered multifunctional.  Also, this color reminds me of Candie’s “Concrete Jungle”, which I’ve done reviews on before, except it's a bit of a lighter shade of grey. I may like Candie’s a bit better… no offense to Sally Hansen lol. This polish is great and you know that I love Sally Hansen products, but I prefer the other one a bit more. Overall, I’d say that this polish deserves 4 out of 5 stars. I like the color and it dries quickly. So far it has lasted with no chips (even though I haven’t had it on for that long so I’...

DIY: Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Hey everyone! So, like the basic white girl I am, I love pumpkin spiced lattes. However, buying them every day can really drain your bank account (or in this case my allowance hehe). Today I have decided to teach you how to make an easy, quick pumpkin spiced latte. Naturally, I found this recipe from Pinterest, but I tweaked it a bit. Here’s what you’ll need: ¾ cup milk (I used 2% because that’s what was in the fridge) 2 tsp. white granulated sugar 2 tbsp. pumpkin puree ¼ tsp. vanilla extract A palm full of pumpkin spice ½ cup hot coffee Whip cream (for an extra touch, but it’s optional) Start off with combining your milk, sugar, pumpkin, vanilla, and pumpkin spice. You’ll want to blend this mixture until it is frothy. I used a hand mixer, but you can use a blender if you want. Next, you want to heat up the pumpkin mixture you just made. The original recipe said to heat it in a sauce pan, which I did the first time, but I was too lazy this time an...

L.A. Colors Color Last - First Impressions

Hey everybody! So I was walking around my local Walmart about 2 weeks ago and I came across a new display of nail polish for L.A. Colors Color Last nail polish. The polishes went for 2 dollars (I think anyway they were pretty cheap) and they claimed to last up to 10 days with the top coat. I decided I’d test that out because why not buy more nail polish that will inevitably dry out and be wasted, whatever. So that is what this blog post is for; I’ll be giving you my first impressions of both the actual polish and the top coat itself.  The color I chose is called “Friendship” and it’s a neutral purple color with slight pink tones. It also has this weird glitter that you can only see when it’s wet or if you have eagle eyes. Anyway, it is a nice color (I used 2 coats) but I had a few problems with application. This particular polish did NOT go on smoothly at all and it looked really rough on its own. I contemplated testing the polish without the top coat on one hand for a ...
