DIY: Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Hey everyone! So, like the basic white girl I am, I love pumpkin spiced lattes. However, buying them every day can really drain your bank account (or in this case my allowance hehe). Today I have decided to teach you how to make an easy, quick pumpkin spiced latte. Naturally, I found this recipe from Pinterest, but I tweaked it a bit.

Here’s what you’ll need:
¾ cup milk (I used 2% because that’s what was in the fridge)
2 tsp. white granulated sugar
2 tbsp. pumpkin puree
¼ tsp. vanilla extract
A palm full of pumpkin spice
½ cup hot coffee
Whip cream (for an extra touch, but it’s optional)

Start off with combining your milk, sugar, pumpkin, vanilla, and pumpkin spice. You’ll want to blend this mixture until it is frothy. I used a hand mixer, but you can use a blender if you want. Next, you want to heat up the pumpkin mixture you just made. The original recipe said to heat it in a sauce pan, which I did the first time, but I was too lazy this time and I just put it in the microwave. Either way it’s hot so that’s what matters lol. Now just mix this with your hot coffee and voilà! Add the whip cream and a dash of cinnamon (for looks) and you’re done!

Now I know you can never match the pumpkin spiced lattes from the coffee shop without a special coffee maker, but this is pretty darn good. I personally like it when its warm and not boiling hot, so that I can actually taste it lol. This makes 1 cup btw but you can double the recipe (or triple it) and save it for the gloomy week ahead.

Hello everyone! Today I have a review for Suncoat’s Natural Nail Polish Remover. My mom recently purchased this online at Amazon, which at the moment is $5.68 for 60ml. It is a corn and soya based nail polish remover with only 4 ingredients, which is significantly healthier than regular polish remover. It comes in either a 30ml or 60ml glass bottle (1oz or 2oz) which is better than plastic because the chemicals in plastic bottles will soak into the remover as well, and that’s bad for you. The directions say to put it on your nails with a Q tip or cotton ball, let soak, and rub off until the polish is removed; basically, it works just like normal removers. I had my mom test it on the 4 th of July nail design and the new glitter polish I got (I test my designs on her first ok) and she gave me a review. She said that it was very very oily, but it is oil so that’s what you’d expect. It took longer to remove than what it would for normal polish remover, but it worked just as well....

L.A. Colors Color Last - First Impressions

Hey everybody! So I was walking around my local Walmart about 2 weeks ago and I came across a new display of nail polish for L.A. Colors Color Last nail polish. The polishes went for 2 dollars (I think anyway they were pretty cheap) and they claimed to last up to 10 days with the top coat. I decided I’d test that out because why not buy more nail polish that will inevitably dry out and be wasted, whatever. So that is what this blog post is for; I’ll be giving you my first impressions of both the actual polish and the top coat itself.  The color I chose is called “Friendship” and it’s a neutral purple color with slight pink tones. It also has this weird glitter that you can only see when it’s wet or if you have eagle eyes. Anyway, it is a nice color (I used 2 coats) but I had a few problems with application. Firework Nails

Hello everyone! If you live in America then tomorrow is an exciting day for you, full of celebration. With that celebration comes amazing fireworks. So, without further a do here are my Independence Day firework nails. The polishes I used were Sally Hansen's "Co-balt Blue" (#320), "Red My Lips" (#470), "Silver Sweep" (#230), and "Grape Shifter" (#423), NYC's "French White Tip" (#134), and Blackheart Beauty's "Deep Sky Blue". I also used a nail dotter to create the fireworks. I started by painting the base colors on my nails, alternating the colors on each finger, and letting that dry. I chose to do my fireworks on the navy blue nails, but you can do them on the red or even on all the nails if you choose.
