Hey everyone! I’m sure I’ll be doing a lot of accent nails
now that school has started. Accent nails are easy, fast, and doing only one
nail makes your designs pop. This design was inspired by a photo I saw on
Pinterest (typical).
The colors I used were Sally Hansen’s Xtreme Wear “White On”
(#300), Insta-Dri “Instant Iris” (#480), “Vigorous Violet” (#365), and “Pronto
Purple” (#360).
This design is really easy. I started with a base coat and
then a coat of white. Then I used painter’s tape and cut the pieces into thin
strips, placing them on my nail to make a checker-like pattern (whatever it’s
called). Next I applied my other 3 colors to a makeup sponge and patted it on
my nail. I did this several times to make it opaque. Then I removed the tape and added
a top coat. It’s really that easy! The remaining nails were painted with the
solid color “Vigorous Violet”.
That’s all for today! Video is up here. BYYEEE
